Nepal's first and most famous national park is situated in the central development region of the kingdom covering an area of 932 sq km. This park includes hilly areas of the Silwalik range covered by deciduous sal forest and carpented with grass, savanna and riverine vegetation. The park is made up of the flood plains of the Narayani, Rapti and the Reu rivers. The park is home to more than 450 endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros and harbours on of the largest population of the elusive and rare Royal Bengal tiger. Besides rhino and tiger there are four species of deer, leopards, langurs, sloth bears, wild boars, rhesus monkeys, wild dogs, white stocking gaurs and many other smaller animals. Gharial and Marsh magar crocodiles cavort in the river water.

The unique birds which number over 450 species including cormorants, egrets, stork, geese, jungle fowl, king fishers and endangered species such as Bengal tiger florician, Lesser florocian, Brahmin, duck, pintails, Indian pitta and parakeets. This makes the park a true bird watcher's paradise. We treat our mutual relationship with nature respectfully. Types of Accommodation:

Beyond The Limits Treks provides two types of accommodation: lodging within the park, and lodging outside the park. No matter your lodging preferences, all programme services are the same. Both styles of lodging are clean and comfortable. Outside the park, the lodges are located on the lap of Royal Chitwan National Park. Inside the park tourists stay on a small Island. How to get there?

By Road:
The five hour drive on the Kathmandu-Narayanghat Highway follows the Trisuli River offering you a continually changing landscape from the mountains of Himalayas to the plains of Terai through colourful Tharu Villages.

By Air:
A half hour flight will bring you From Kathmandu to Bharatpur where you will be met by our naturalist and will be taken to Jungle Safari Lodge by Jeep.

By Raft:
One of the most exciting ways to travel to the Park is to raft down the Trisuli River. For two or more days you can float down the river experiencing its numerous rapids and seeing a variety of village life, flora and funa along its banks.
