About Kathmandu Valley Full Day Sightseeing

Kathmandu Valley Full Day Sightseeing Tour –  famous for its rich cultural, and historical heritage, lies in the Central Region of Nepal. This central hub of the country, lying within it the only international airport, stands as the port to every nook and corner of Nepal. It is thus, the main transit to the Himalayas, the flat Terai, and the cool mountainous range in between the region.

This tour starts at 8.30 am from Beyond the Limits Treks and Expedition P. Ltd's head office in Thamel every day. You should be present at our office at about 8 am we will introduce you to your guide and Driver. There will be a knowledgeable city guide for your city tour. You will visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbars Square, and Swyambhunath on this day tour.

The tour starts with Kathmandu sightseeing, Kathmandu Valley also called the city of temples, constitutes the most revered Hindu temples in Nepal existing from antiquity. Among such temples, you will be destined to Pashupatinath temple area, a UNESCO world heritage site, and a holy shrine situated on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu. In the area is the Lord Shiva temple, the Pashupatinath which stands as the symbol of the national deity.
Next comes Boudhanath stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. Also known as Khasa Caitya, or Khasti by Newars, or Buddha or Bodhnath by modern speakers of Nepali. Around 11km (7 miles) from the center to the northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa’s massive Mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal.

Afterward, you will be visiting Patan Durbar Square, the ancient and famous Durbar square, also known as an ancient Newari cultured town — it has a great history, much influential to the present day Nepal, that includes the Malla reign — in the south corner of the Kathmandu Valley. During the excitement, we will have occasional breaks for refreshing and the return back to the hotel for lunch is followed by sightseeing to the Swoyambhu Nath, again one of the most significant, not-to-miss shrines situated on the top of the hill in central Kathmandu. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel will supplement and compensate for the hectic day.
