Once arriving at the airport to start your Family tour in Nepal, Beyond The Limits will be there to receive you. After a short and welcoming meet & greet we drive to your booked hotel. Once checked in we hold a short brief into the Family tour in Nepal itinerary and plan to meet the next day after breakfast. Having meet up at the reception and after checking out the hotel we drive to Pokhara. Known as the Lakeside City. Pokhara is one of the best places in Nepal! Filled with places to see, and activities such as boating, sightseeing etc. the real beauty of Pokhara is its location. With the serene waters of Phewa Lake reflecting the surrounding Himalayas it’s truly a magical place!
Once at Pokhara we check in to your booked hotel and enjoy a boating trip on Phewa Lake. In the evening we go for a stroll at the local night market and on the banks of the lake. Pokhara’s Lakeside area is filled with restaurants offering a wide range of different delicacies.
Hike to Australian Camp:
The next morning after breakfast we check out the hotel and drive to Nayapul. From here we start the hiking part of the Family tour in Nepal. The trail is easy going and we make our way to Ghandruk at 1,940m/6,365ft. Known as the biggest Gurung village of the area Ghandruk gives you and your family the chance to see the lives of the locals. This culture experience is both educative and bonding. The next day we hike further west to Tolka at 1,700m/5,577ft. The trail once again is easy going and gives great views of the surrounding landscape.
We’ll pass by some smaller villages, as well as cross the Modhi Khola River before reaching at Tolka. Here depending on the season you get to see the Himalayan Honey Hunters at work! After breakfast we drive down to Pokhara and continue on one of the last days of the Family tour in Nepal. While driving back to the hotel in Pokhara we go sightseeing as well. We visit the Bindhyabasini Temple and go sightseeing at the Davis Fall waterfall and the Mahendra Gupta. A cave leading under the waterfall. In the afternoon we visit the local market and go sightseeing at the holy Seti River. Lastly we take a short drive to Pumdikot where a newly built huge Shiva statue resides. We’ll check out the views here and head back to Pokhara. Choose one of the lakeside restaurants for a nice dinner as tomorrow we head back to Kathmandu to conclude the Family tour in Nepal.
