About Tamang Heritage Trek
Tamang Heritage Trail is a newly opened Lang Tang Valley. This homestay type of trekking route is in the magnificent Langtang region of Nepal. The journey is often walked through the Tamang community called the Bridim Home Stay trekking in Nepal as well. The route travels around the villages of the Tamang ethnic people who are believed to have migrated from Tibet centuries ago. Earlier the route was under the restricted region of Nepal. Since its opening, it has been attracting lots of trekkers and visitors. The abundance of natural and cultural attractions that the trekkers find in the region has made this trekking the diversified desolate path adventure.
The journey starts from the Syaprubeshi which is the vibrant town of Rasuwa district and the main shopping hub of the Tamang people of the region. Most of the famous Langtang Region trekking routes Langtang Valley Trekking, Ganjala Pass Trekking, and Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trekking can start and end from here. Passing by the villages of Gatlang and either camping or home staying would give you enough insight into life in Tamangs. The natural hot water springs in Tatopani would be another highlight of your cultural trek amalgamated with a bit of nature. The final destination of the Tamang Heritage Trail in Briddim.
