Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trekking can be done North and South of the Kanchenjunga Base camp by crossing the Sinon la-sele pass that takes you to the remote areas of the eastern Himalayan region of Nepal. Kanchenjunga is the third-highest mountain in the world. On this trek, you will enjoy the tantalizing views of four of the five world's highest mountains, Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, and Kanchenjunga. The wide range of scenery, with terraced hills with wheat and potato cultivation, lush tropical forest with chestnut and oak, and Rhododendron flowers leading to the alpine zone, provides you peace and inspiration throughout the trek. It's best to start Kanchenjunga Base Camp with the flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to Taplejung. Also, there is a direct flight to Sukhetar airstrip but Kathmandu to Sukhetar flight is very uncertain and the alternative mode is transportation overland all the way to Taplejung. Also, Kanchenjunga Base Camp can be approached from the Indian side, but from Nepal, providing you with the full experience of the Kanchenjunga region. From Sukhetar or from Taplejung you can drive up to Sekathum and your trek can start. You walk up through the Ghunsa Khola valley through the Rhododendron forest, to the Himalayan region.

As you reach a higher altitude, the scenery is dominated by a long range of mountain vistas. In the Kanchenjunga range, you can see four high mountains above 8000m such as Mt Everest(8848m), Mt.Lhoste(8516m), Mt.Makalu(8481m), along Mt. Kanchnjunga (8586m). On this trek, you cross the two high passes, the Lapsang La Pass and the Sinon La Pass locally known as Sele Le Pass. We will be at the base camp of the World's third-highest mountain, Mt. Kanchenjunga. We start our day trip to Pang Pema, Kanchenjunga North base camp, with glorious views of the mountains en route. After spending some hours at the base camp with the prayer flags and the splendid views of the Himalayas, we will return to Lhonak.

Beyond The Limits Treks will manage for international airport departure Transportation.

Another beautiful drive to Bhadrapur arriving at the airport and evening flight to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

From Yang Pang, there are several jeeps to Ilam. This drive is one of the most beautiful drives. Many tourists like to visit the Ilam Tea Garden. Kanyam is the most popular place for domestic and international tourists. You can have a pleasant view of the Himalayas and lovely villages.

On the following day, you will take a downhill from Yamphudin, pass the bridge at Samekham, and proceed to Kabeli Khola. Passing Mamankhe and the bridge above Khaksewa Khola you will ascend all through the cardamom forest where you will pass some villages. Again taking a downhill you will arrive at Khebang

From Tortong you will take downhill to Yamphudin passing Lasiya Bhanjyang chitre. You will stroll all through taking the downhill of Yamphudin, which Rais, Sherpa, and Limbu inhabit.

Note: A new route has been established to skip the landslide route on the main trail for a safer journey for both locals and travelers. This adjustment adds an extra day to your trek. This way you will trek down to Naya Jhareni, where you will spend the night. The following day, you will descend to Yamphudin, reconnecting with the original itinerary. This newly constructed path offers a secure and scenic alternative, enhancing your trekking experience. If you want to do this trail please let us know.

From Cheram (tseram) you will set out for Torntong today is an easy day flat and downhill to torntong. the place is beautiful with the middle of the jungle Stay overnight in Tea House B.L.D.

 

On the following day, you will go upward toward oktang view point and turning up at Ramche. We will walk ahead of the valley. Then, you will stream viewing the quick look of Jannu Himal. Taking downhill you will turn up at Cheram.

Note that you will have option stay at Ramche too. but the accomodation is very besic this case you can go Ramche to torntong next day

On the following day, you will ascend all through the charming south rim viewing Jannu Himal and Makalu. You will go for a difficult trek passing numerous passes called Sinion La, Sinelapche Bhanjyang, and Mirgin. Taking a vertical downhill will take you to Cheram. Stay overnight in Tea House B.L.D.

On the following day, you will take a steep trek ascending from Ghunsa to Sele Le. Arriving at Sele Le you will again ascend through the thick forest and Juniper. Then, you will enjoy your lunch and spend the night.

On the following day, you will again arrive at Ghunsa and it is essential. So, you will downhill to Ghunsa, enjoying the attractive forest all along with the setting of imposing mountain vistas.

On this Arrival day in Nepal, you will land at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be warmly received by the representative staff from Beyond the Limits Treks and Expedition. From Tribhuvan International Airport Terminal 01, you will be transferred to the hotel in a comfortable vehicle. Arriving at the hotel we will give a short briefing on the Program. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Experiencing another tricky day, you will begin the trek where you will trek all through the rocky pastureland and hillside. Turning up at the waterfall and passing the bridge to Ramtang Monastery will take you downhill to Lhonak.

Today you will trek along the bank of the river viewing the magnificent scene of the Mountain. You will cross the meadows, attractive wildflowers, and pine forests. Passing the Rampuk Kharka will make you view the amazing Mt Jannu. Discovering and dealing with tricky mountain trails will take you to Kambachen.

You will use this day for acclimatization but we will request you stay energetic even on acclimatization day. It is good to carry out short strolls rather than staying idle thus we will take you to hike Laspsan La Monastery after that you will return to the camp and have a rest. Stay overnight in Tea House B.L.D.

You will go downhill and reach Phale where you can buy some souvenirs. Then, crossing the forest of pine and conifer will take you to the Sherpa village known as Ghunsa. Ghunsa is acknowledged as a hydroelectricity plant.

We will hike to Gyabla, leaving Amjilosa behind, following the bank of Ghunsa Khola. We will walk through the forest track, and there is a rare chance that we can spot a red panda. Ambling along the trail, we can see the splendid view of the snow-capped mountains. After about four to five hours of walking, according to our pace, we will reach Gyabla/Kyapra village, where we stay for the night.

On the following day, you will stroll to Amjilosa, following the tricky trail. You will pass the suspension bridge, and dense forest and take uphill to the vertical trail. You will ascend the gorge and cross Solima village. Again you will take upward and downward momentum which will make you reach Amjilosa. Stay overnight in Tea House B.L.D.

On this day, you will drive to the Sekathum from Taplejung by Local Jeep. After reaching Sekathum check in the lodge and rest for a while. Explore villages to experience Nepali lifestyle and culture. If you like to walk, you can visit Olanchung gola highway and Valley, which is another border for Tibet . Overnight stay at Tea House.

You will drive to Tribhuvan Domestic Airport, Kathmandu from where you will catch the flight to Bhadrapur which is less than an hour flight. After landing in Bhadrapur, you will be driving overland to Taplejung. Enjoy the local culture and beauty of the Taplejung. Stay overnight in a hotel.

The trekking Leader will check your Trekking gear and suggest whether you need to buy or rent some trekking gear. If you have any unnecessary gear then, you can store it at the hotel in Kathmandu, after this you can go sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley where a lot of things to see. if you like to take a guide and driver let us ask with beyond the Limits trek manager.
