The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most well-known treks in Nepal. Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Beyond the Limits Treks & Expedition will greet you and take you to your hotel. They will give you a brief overview of your trip, and depending on your arrival time, you can explore the sights of Kathmandu and the Thamel area.

Overnight stay in Hotel

 On this day, we'll set off for Pokhara, which is located at the base of the Annapurna mountain range. You will have a scenic drive to Pokhara.  Once you arrive in Pokhara, you will have a beautiful view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Fishtail Mountain.

Overnight stay at Hotel.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will continue your journey to Hile which is approximately 2 hours drive away from Pokhara. At Hile, your porter will be waiting to assist you with your luggage. After a nourishing lunch in Tikhedhunga, you will commence your trek to Ulleri from Tikhedhunga.  During your journey, you will have the chance to experience the local culture and hospitality of the Gurung community.

Overnight at  Teahouse.

On this day, you will trek to the renowned village of Ghorepani which is very famous for Poon Hill View Point.  The trail passes through lush rhododendron forests and traditional villages. In this trail, you will hear the chirping of different species of birds which add fragrance to your trip.

Overnight at the lodge

Rise and shine, today's early start will lead you to the stunning viewpoint of Poon Hill. Admire the magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges and snap some breathtaking photos of the snow-capped peaks. After breakfast, continue your journey to Tadapani, passing through lush rhododendron forests and traditional villages. Immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre mountain ranges along the way. It usually takes 4 to 5 hours to reach Tadapani.

 Overnight stay at the lodge

Begin your day with a nourishing breakfast before embarking on the trek towards Chomrong. You will be guided on a scenic descent down the bottom of Kimrong Khola, surrounded by breathtaking rhododendron forests. A highlight of the day will be crossing the Kimrong Khola, a serene river that winds through the valley. After a one-hour hike uphill, you will arrive in the charming village of Chomrong, nestled in the heart of the Annapurna massive.

On this day, we will embark on a shorter day. After departing from our starting Chhomrong, we will descend to the Chhomrong Khola and then climb up to the picturesque village of Sinuwa. The village is located in front of Chhomrong village. As we continue our journey, we will traverse through a dense forest, and arrive in Bamboo.

Overnight stay at teahouse

Today, we embark on a scenic hike through the lush forest, navigating through the lush vegetation, including bamboo bushes and rhododendron, and crossing stunning snow landslide areas with brief stops along the way. As we make our way to Deurali, we will cross the Hinku Bridge, walking alongside the majestic Modi River. The trail becomes steeper as we gain altitude, providing us with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the traditional villages and the stunning rhododendron forests.

Overnight stay in guesthouse.

Following a nourishing breakfast at the lodge, we will embark on our journey towards the Annapurna Base Camp Sanctuary. The trail leads us through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where we will cross the roofless shepherd huts in the Moraine area. At an altitude of 3,700 meters, Machhapuchhre Base Camp is situated approximately 400 meters lower than the Annapurna Base Camp. Along the way, trekkers will be treated to breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains, including the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, and Machhapuchhre. After a gentle hike from Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we will reach the final destination of this awe-inspiring trek.

Wake up to the beauty of the Himalayan range of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchre bathed in the morning sun. After a nutritious breakfast, commence your journey back to Kathmandu. Admire the last close-up views of the snow-capped mountains as you make your way to Bamboo, which rests at an altitude of 2310 meters. The descent from the trek is relatively easier compared to the ascent.

Follow the same trail that you took during the ascent and watch as the stunning landscapes of Annapurna Base Camp, Machhapuchre Base Camp, Deurali, Fishtail, and Hiunchuli gradually fade into the distance. Finally, arrive at Sinuwa and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at a local tea house.

This day marks the second day of our departure from the awe-inspiring Annapurna Base Camp. Although we leave the base camp, the panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains will remain etched in our minds forever. Our trek today will take us approximately 5 to 6 hours and lead us back to Jhinu Danda. In Jhinu Danda, you can relax and rejuvenate your tired body in the warm and comforting waters of the hot springs. After a relaxing day, we will spend the night at Jhinu Danda.

In the morning, you will be treated to a delicious breakfast at the lodge in Jhinu Danda. After fueling up, you will make your way towards the stunning city of Pokhara. You will cross a long bridge just beyond Jhinu Danda and walk for about 30 minutes to reach the nearest road. From there, you will take a convenient vehicle ride to Pokhara, passing through the charming villages of Syauli Bazaar and Birenthanti.

Upon arriving in Pokhara, you will be welcomed by a unique blend of geography and culture. You will have the opportunity to spend the day exploring the city and its many attractions, including the serene Fewa Lake, the intriguing Mahendra Cave, and the awe-inspiring Davis Falls, to name just a few.

Overnight stay in Pokhara

On the final day of your Annapurna trek, you have the option of either flying back to Kathmandu or driving back by bus. If you choose to fly, you will be treated to breathtaking aerial views of the mountains surrounding Pokhara, as well as the lush green forests and diverse human settlements in both Pokhara and Kathmandu. Alternatively, if you opt for the bus ride, you will get to experience the scenic Himalayan roads with their twisting and turning routes, surrounded by stunning river valleys. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you have the freedom to spend your time however you see fit and make the most of your remaining time in the city.
